In Pakistan, It is grown in all provinces over an area of 26.02 thousand hectors with annual production of 102 thousand tones, (2018-2019) According to Ayyub agricultural research institute. People in Pakistan have been planting mustard seeds for a very long time. Farmers all over the country like growing mustard because it’s good in many types of weather and soils. The yellow flowers in the mustard fields have been around for ages, telling a story of good times for farmers.

Sarson major growing areas are Attock, Rawalpindi, Jehlum, Chakwal, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawal Pur, Bahawal Nagar, Rahim yar khan, Muzaffar Garh and many others.

4.Feeding the plants:

On second watering giving only one bag of urea is enough for it to give good production. this is very less costing than other crops.
5.Keeping away weed and bugs:

But in this crop Farmers don’t have to worry about bugs and weed if they did their planting on time. sarson do not need any pesticide on normal conditions. sarson also saves the cost of pesticide.
6. Time to pick:
When spring comes, it’s time to pick the mustard. Farmers use their hands or machines to cut the plants. After that, they let the mustard dry and separate the seeds from the rest.
